This weekend I headed home to go to a production of "The Sound of Music" that my mom had helped put on. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of those types of things...it was really good! Our family friend also had a baby shower that we went to. Me and my sister then started discussing what presents we would give each other when we have babies. My sister told me that she would give me a tree house because I informed her that I will be living in the rain forest and my kids won't be wearing clothes. So...a tree house was the only logical present. 

I enjoyed this outfit...I hope you do too 

Awkward..

Awkward makes everything interesting right? Maybe. Well...my week has been full of awkward experiences. 

1) Choking on carrots in the shush/no eating zone.

2) Staring at a person for a good minute trying to figure out if it was a boy or girl. 

3) Waiting to cross the street, accompanied by a couple who's PDA was a little extreme. (Talk about third wheel) And of course it took 5 minutes for the light to change. 

4) Watching someone fall and accidentally laughing out loud. And then getting scowls from everyone else around me. 

Just a a side note....there is snow everywhere :[ 

Ehh...

Woke up. Threw some clothes on. Went to class. Came home. Looked in the mirror. (Full length mirror) Stared. And one word came to mind....HIPSTER. And at that thought, I almost puked.

I wanted this blog to be geared a little towards fashion, but hopefully my next outfit will be a little better than this one. 

Easy Tiger

Last night I had my first Intramural soccer game of the Winter semester. Towards the beginning of the game, me and a girl from the opposing team both went for a ball in the air. I kind of gave her a little push to make sure I would get the ball, and next thing I know she's laying on the ground. She got up and her eyes had changed to red I swear. She had it out for me the rest of the night. Throughout the rest of the game I was worried that something like this might happen...

Luckily it didn't and we ended up with a 8-1 W. 

Typical

Just a typical night in the apartment...all of us roommates sitting on one couch. (And of course it's the smallest couch in the room)

Clever Boy

I have this bad habit of checking the mail a little too often. But, I'm trying to break this habit, so I waited three whole days and then checked it. And oh my heck! It was like Christmas when I opened up the mailbox. THREE LETTERS waiting for me from Mr. Missionary! With one of the letters came a frickin awesome surprise.... 

 

Pretty clever idea I would say. What. A. Stud. 

I have this bug...& it won't go away

Lately I've had this bug...a travel bug to be exact. So, I thought that posting a little bit about where I would love to go would help relieve it some.

Zumba!

Zumba= Pure. Awesomeness. I had to give up Zumba last Spring due to a crazzzy schedule and I was pretty upset, but now.....I have returned! I bought the aerobics band here at BYU so now I can go to tons of different classes. (one of which is ZUMBA!)  I'm pretty stoked to go and try all of the different classes they have to offer. It will be EPIC.

Through the Elements

So probably on my second or third day of school Fall semester I was eating an apple on my way to class. I bit into the apple, and got a small taste of the annoying sticker on it. I peeled it off with my teeth and spit it out and watched it fall to the sidewalk.  Then, on my way back home I saw it there and thought ooo. hey. my sticker I littered.

So today as I was running I happened to look down and...it. was. there. A little faded. But, THERE! It lasted through all the elements of one semester. Now we'll see if it can stand this one. 

Design on a dime

My roommate was having her birthday party at a drink lounge here in Provo called Sp^rk. So, of course we wanted to get fancy, and where else do you go when you need to find a killer dress....D.I. of course.

Summer?

I'm back in Provo, and I couldn't be more excited! I'm ready for a new semester with new classes. It will be epic. And, it doesn't hurt that it was 49 degrees today....Awesome.

Locked out

So, there is this boy that I kind of like a lot. He's now out on a mission in the Marshall Islands, but before he left we had this brilliant idea to make a time capsule. So, Mr. Missionary went to work on welding the most awesome time capsule EVER! It was mostly all done, and then we painted it, and did a pretty awesome job as well. But, time ran out. I left for school and he was busy with work and getting ready to leave so he added a few finishing touches and then it was my duty to put everything in. And that is where the problem begins.....

And this is the crazy contraption I have to figure  out how to open! I spent FOREVER trying to figure it out and  yup....still sealed shut.


Hopefully in time I'll be able to get this sucker open and fill it up!

Home Opener

The NBA is back....and I couldn't be more excited. It all began on Christmas Day, and I was lucky enough to go down to Salt Lake on Friday and join the Jazz in their home opener. But before the game, we headed to The Gateway to enjoy pure deliciousness....Tucanos! 

Just a small taste of what this place has to offer.

My favorite thing there! Grilled Pineapple....so so AWESOME!

Then, we were off to the Home Opener against the Sixers. It was a pretty close game the whole time, and the Jazz came out on top so that was a huge plus.
