Where is the sunshine?

For the last couple of days the sunshine has been slacking. 

And because of it, it makes me miss this place:

I miss the sunshine, the water, awesome friends, and adventures!

Today walking across campus, my nose got very happy. 

A delightful man smell 

with a hint of freshly mowed grass

topped off with the brisk scent of Fall. 

Absolutely perfect I tell ya.

In my Sociology class, we are talking about gender differences, and the role of the media on how individuals perceive themselves and others. Amid all of the midst of the discussion, my professor showed us this video. 

I thought it was pretty great. 

I don't really know my Disney made it...

maybe to undo the underlying messages they tucked into all their many movies...

but anywho.

I thought it was really great.

I've had two awesome weekends in a row. 

This weekend I met up my my familia and had a girls weekend at Time Out For Women. 

It was seriously so good! 

I laughed, and cried, and got lots of new insight on things. 

One speaker, Chris Williams, was awesome and showed this video. 

You better be bawling, because I sure as heck know I was.

Sisters and sisters. Precious. 

After, we headed to Brigham City to eat at Maddox. 

I ate BISON. 

Crazy, I know.

But so good!

And I ate 10 rolls. Not even an exaggeration. Their raspberry butter is a dream!

History was definitely made when Pres. Monson announced that boys could now serve missions at age 18, and sisters can now serve at 19! 

CRAZY. 

A little overwhelming, but I'm ready to see where this decision takes me. 

Of course, conference was awesome, and I wouldn't expect anything less.

Last weekend, the Cougs took on some people from up north. 

& of course they won. 

6-3. 

Football season is seriously one of my favorite things. EVER. 

This weekend is Homecoming, a blackout, and playing #10 Oregon St. 

Go gettem' COUGS. 

Only 28 days early.

It finally came! My absentee ballot. 

Halle-FREAKIN-luljah! 

I was starting to get pretty anxious for it, but it came in plenty of time.
