We Owned The Night

Lady A came to Salt Lake on Valentines Day and I was a lucky duck and was able to go! It was so awesome! 

Darius Rucker was there and so was Thompson Square...Darius is quite the looker in real life.

LADY A...I was seriously screaming like a crazy lady at this point...

And of course we had to hit up Denny's afterwards

Today is Valentines Day. Yayyy. ( Imagine that in a sarcastic tone) I'm not a fan. Even when I had someone to spoil me with presents I still didn't really get the point. You give someone flowers and chocolate on a random day in February because you think someone is pretty awesome? Weirrrrd...and expensive.

Amen.

But...there is one good thing about February 14th. It's this girl's Birthday!  

I'm pretty frickin glad she was born! She's the best! 

Follow Up

So not going to lie...I was hoping for a more awesome result from all this plasma business. But I guess these couple bruises will have to do.  

This one made me feel like I had a worm crawling in my arm... 

Poor

I'm poor. And because of this I have started selling my plasma. It had been going along so smooth...until today. They insert into my left arm, and after three workers coming over, they cannot not find a good enough vein. So they pull the needle out and move on to my right arm. The worker is about to insert the needle and I hear "Oh this vein looks nice!" and then I hear "Oh....I'll be right back." I look down at my arm and see a bubble forming. The worker came back and informed me he had nicked my vein. Just great. But no big deal. I still got paid and now I'll have a frickin awesome bruise!

Once the bruises start to surface, I'll for sure be posting those pics! 

The Quarry

Sister time. That's what this weekend consisted of. And I loved it. One of the things that we did while she was down was we went to the Quarry. It is an indoor rock climbing place here in Provo and I fell in love. I'll definitely be hitting this place up fairly often. 

I feel like my butt does not look this big in real  life.  Well... at least I hope it doesn't

Yesterday I went over to Craig and Kevin's place to watch Craig open his mission call. Everyone has been getting their calls and I think it's so awesome to see where they are going! Here is where he is headed...

I'm a Coug

BYU basketball...I. Love. It. I love it so much that I missed my intramural game just so I could stand in line in the bitter cold waiting for the doors to open so I could get a front row seat. And then wait another two hours for the game to even begin. It was worth it. The Cougs played  Gonzaga and it was quite the game. Of course I forgot my camera...but you can see how awesome it was by this:
